The problem

Time tracking tells you what happened. It never tells you why.

Existing tools hand you raw numbers and leave you to make sense of them. FocusTime was built to close that gap.

Existing time trackers hand you raw numbers with no actionable insight

Teams have no visibility into energy depletion or burnout risk until it is too late

Nothing predicts the right moment for a break based on your own patterns

Work across design, coding, and meetings is hard to see in one place

Weekly reports lack visual clarity and a clear next step

A human centric productivity tool

What FocusTime does

Five ways FocusTime changes how you work

Automated Time Tracking

FocusTime captures more than 95% of your work activity automatically, so you never have to start a timer or log a task by hand.

Energy Intelligence

A real time energy meter reflects how much you have actually given today, calculated from the duration and intensity of your work.

Predictive Breaks

FocusTime learns your natural rhythm and suggests a break exactly when you need one, before burnout sets in.

Visual Reporting

Every week, get a heat map of your productivity by hour and by day, plus the insights that turn data into action.

Multi Discipline Support

Whether you are deep in Figma, shipping code, or sitting back to back in meetings, FocusTime tracks each one separately so you always see where your time goes.

Core tracking

Every hour, categorized without you lifting a finger

Productivity Classification

FocusTime automatically sorts your activity into productive and unproductive time based on the apps you use. Disagree with a call? Reclassify it in one click, and the system gets sharper with every correction.

Multi Skill Tracking

Design tools like Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Suite are detected automatically, as are coding environments like VS Code, other IDEs, and terminals. Override any category manually and view a separate graph for each skill type.

Meeting Tracking

FocusTime connects to Google Calendar and Outlook and recognizes Zoom, Teams, and Meet automatically. In person meetings can be logged manually, and meeting time is always tracked separately.

Visual analytics

See your day and your week at a glance

Real Time Productivity Graphs

A live, color coded graph breaks your day down hour by hour and refreshes every 5 minutes. Drill into any hour to see exactly what you were doing.

Weekly Heat Map Report

Every Monday morning, FocusTime emails you a heat map covering Monday through Sunday, hour by hour, along with your total productive hours, your peak times, and how this week compares to last.

Energy monitor

Know your capacity before you hit empty

Energy Level Display

A visual meter running from 0 to 100% shows your current energy in real time. It depletes as you put in productive, intense work and regenerates during breaks, with color coded warnings so you always know where you stand.

Energy Depletion Alerts

FocusTime alerts you at 30% energy remaining and again at 15%. Notifications are gentle and easy to dismiss, and each one comes with a suggested break length.

Predictive focus engine

It learns how you actually work

Focus Pattern Learning

After about 2 weeks of data, FocusTime starts identifying your 2 to 3 peak focus windows each day, recognizing patterns like your post lunch dip and your morning ramp up.

Intelligent Break Suggestions

FocusTime times tea and coffee break suggestions for your natural low energy periods and steers clear of your focus windows entirely. Choose a break length of 5, 10, or 15 minutes and watch the timing improve over time.

How it works

From install to insight in three steps

Step 1

Connect your tools

Grant FocusTime access to your calendar and let it detect the design, coding, and meeting apps you already use.

Step 2

Let FocusTime learn

Keep working normally for a couple of weeks while FocusTime classifies your activity and starts mapping your energy and focus patterns.

Step 3

Get insight that changes your day

Watch your energy meter, act on a well timed break suggestion, and open your Monday heat map to see exactly where your week went.
